C’est fait ! Nos juniors ont désormais leur propre tournoi en salle pendant la trêve d’hiver ! C’est avec une joie immense que le FC Avenches vous annonce l’organisation de la première édition de son tournoi de juniors en salle, l’Aventicum Football Indoors.

A knockout tournament or elimination tournament is divided into successive rounds; each competitor plays in at least one fixture per round. The top-ranked competitors in each fixture progress to the next round. As rounds progress, the number of competitors and fixtures decreases. The final round, usually known as the final or cup final, consists of just one fixture; the winner of which is the overall champion.
In a single-elimination tournament, only the top-ranked competitors in a fixture progress; in 2-competitor games, only the winner progresses. All other competitors are eliminated. This ensures a winner is decided with the minimum number of fixtures. However, most competitors will be eliminated after relatively few matches; a single bad or unlucky performance can nullify many preceding excellent ones.
A double-elimination tournament may be used in 2-competitor games to allow each competitor a single loss without being eliminated from the tournament. All losers from the main bracket enter a losers’ bracket, the winner of which plays off against the main bracket’s winner.

The performing arts community in Louisville, Kentucky is undergoing a renaissance. The Kentucky Center, dedicated in 1983, located in the downtown hotel and entertainment district, is a premiere performing arts center. It features a variety of plays and concerts, and is the performance home of the Louisville Ballet, Louisville Orchestra, Broadway Across America – Louisville, Music Theatre Louisville, Stage One, KentuckyShow! and the Kentucky Opera, which is the twelfth oldest opera in the United States. The center also manages the historic W. L. Lyons Brown Theatre, which opened in 1925 and is patterned after New York’s acclaimed Music Box Theatre.

Juste avant le début des compétitions officielles, et toute transparence, Sunaj et John, entrâineurs de la deux, dressent un premier bilan de cette phase de préparation du championnat et se penchent sur la suite de la compétition et les objectifs de la saison.
<blockquote>Nous avons entamé cette saison le 24 juillet. Bien sûr les préparations estivales sont toujours difficiles à gérer avec la période de vacances mais je pense que nos joueurs l’ont largement mérité.
Nous avons effectué deux matchs amicaux, contre le FC Granges-Marnand II avec une victoire 4-1 et contre le FC La Sionge avec également une victoire 0-2.
Cette année nous partons sur les mêmes bases que la précédente mais avec encore plus d’ambition. Côté effectif nous pouvons que nous réjouir, nous enregistrons aucun départ et trois arrivées. Bajrami Musli ( 1er équipe ), Aeberhard Sandro ( FC Courgevaux ) et Heitor Dani ( FC St-Imier ). Nous sommes très heureux de les accueillir et viendront renforcer chaque secteur de jeu.
Avec cet effectif nous nous devons d’être ambitieux et viser à nouveau les finales. Nous souhaitons aussi aller le plus loin possible en coupe. L’équipe à une excellente entente en dehors et sur le terrain. Mais nous pensons avant tous qu’à notre niveau le principal est de se faire plaisir et c’est ce que nous ressentons à chaque entraînement et match. Nous voulons également dégager ce plaisir en dehors du terrain avec un bon niveau de jeu et agréable à regarder.
En conclusion nous sommes prêt pour cette nouvelle année, allons tout donner pour atteindre nos objectifs et représenter aux mieux les couleurs du FC Avenches.</blockquote>
